The short version
The work on this site, told properly. How a signed proposal becomes a provisioned job, what RenewCompare does with a power bill, and what I’m building now.

As narrated in October 2026. The figures elsewhere on this site are re-measured as the systems grow.
I've done door-to-door sales, admin, and DevOps. Now I build the systems the whole business runs on. I started in door-to-door solar sales, moved into operations and administration, and in 2025 taught myself to code. Within months, I'd automated my own admin role out of existence, and built the systems the company now runs on.
Today I'm the DevOps engineer at a solar company of more than 70 people, owning its Azure estate end to end. Provisioned as code with Terraform and Bicep, shipped through GitHub Actions to Container Apps, and secured zero trust from the endpoint to the Cloudflare edge.
The Job Adding System turns a signed solar proposal into a fully provisioned job across 20 platforms. Salesforce, Xero, Monday, SharePoint, Greendeal, AroFlo, and government compliance. Signature-verified webhooks, an idempotent, resumable queued worker, 76 automations on 64 scheduled jobs, and more than 9,300 automated tests.
In production, it replaces more than 5,000 hours of manual work a year. Invoicing, compliance certificates, crew scheduling, and timesheets now run with no manual oversight. It's one of two production systems I've built end to end.
The other is RenewCompare. Built to product standard and now run as an internal tool: a multi-service FastAPI backend, VNet-private Postgres, AI bill parsing, and hardened first-party authentication.
Under the hood: Argon2id hashing with rotating refresh tokens. Half-hourly quantile price forecasts, trained on 27 years of AEMO settlement data. And a Rust optimiser that schedules home batteries in under a millisecond.
Alongside the products, I run the group's cloud foundation. Entra ID and Intune policy as code. Computer vision models for automated roof detection. And Salesforce development: custom flows and Apex that automate the customer experience our director mapped out. I'm formalising the experience with a Graduate Certificate in Computing at Charles Sturt, on the pathway to an IT Master's. Coursework going into systems I actually run.
Right now, I'm containerising the Job Adding System. First, a hardened, pinned image. Then its SQLite databases move into one Postgres, with every write going to both and compared nightly, until a full week of jobs matches. And the system keeps growing. This month: jobs and crews syncing to a new field-service platform, fleet monitoring across about 1,700 installed systems, and a backup of every Salesforce file.
